Using gift basket bags is an easier and quicker way to wrap your beautifully homemade gift baskets for birthdays Easter or Christmas. It's the last step and the most important one in gift wrapping your one of a kind gift basket for your friends.

Using Gift Basket Bags

I made this Easter gift basket to show you how easy it is to wrap your own gift baskets. Gift wrapping ideas made simple with ready made gift basket bags. For this I used a large ready made gift bag, it has small spring flowers printed on it, ideal for Easter I thought. This method is the same for any sized gift basket using gift bags. Just choose a gift bag.

Things You Will Need

1. Your basket with your chosen items nicely placed inside.

2. 1 Cellophane gift bag.

3. Scissors.

4. Thin adhesive tape, floral wire or tie twists.

5. Clear wide adhesive tape. (the one used for packing parcels).

Method

	This Easter basket is ready to be place into the cellophane bag. For the right size bag, measure the base and the height of the basket. (especially if it has a handle) Place the basket in the center of your cellophane bag. 1. Take the thin adhesive tape, (or one of the above) and cut a long piece, enough to wrap around 2 or 3 times.
	2. Gather all the cellophane in a bunch in one hand as in picture, pull from the top with the other hand making it tight. If the basket has a handle, make sure this sits on top. If it's without make sure it sits on top of the items.3. Take the thin tape you cut earlier or floral wire, wrap it around the cellophane you are holding as tight as possible.4. When you have secured it, it should not flop. (this might take a while )If it dose flop, start again.
	You will have cellophane sticking out from both sides of your basket.4. Neatly fold the cellophane vertically down the basket. 5.Take your clear wide tape and tape it from the side to the underneath of the basket, so it's not visible. 6. Cut with scissors the excess cellophane at the top. Do not cut it to short, leave about 10 inches. Now your basket is ready for a bow.
