Not only is your wedding dress and bridal flowers important, so are your wedding attendants. One wedding helper or ten helpers, they can help you with so much.
There are so many wedding day helpers it can get very confusing and you might not want them all.
Here are some explanations of what your attendants can do for you when planning your wedding event.
Principal Bridesmaid, also known as the Chief Bridesmaid or Maid of Honor if she is not married, and a close friend or sister of the bride.
If she is married she is called Matron of Honor.
Being the Maid of Honor or Matron of Honor is a great privilege in itself. This means Maid of Honor or Matron of Honor is the number one person next to the Bride.

She helps choose the dress and attends the dress fittings.
Helps with the wedding preparations.
Attends church rehearsals.
Hosts the Hen Night and the shower party.
Helps the Bride with her veil and flowers.
Maid of Honor sits at the Bride and Groom's table at the reception.
Has the first dance with the Best Man after the Bride and Groom.
Is a witness at the wedding and signs the marriage license.
These are just a few of the main things the Maid of Honor helps with.
She is your wedding aide.
The Junior Bridesmaid:
A Junior Bridesmaid is between the ages of 7 and 14. Too young to be a Principal Bridesmaid and too old to be a Flower Girl. Her duties are....
....attend Bridesmaid dress fittings.
Attend church rehearsals.
Attend the Bridal Shower and help with gifts, food and clean up.
Help plan games for the younger guests at the reception.
Hand out ceremony programs at the church.
Hand out confetti or rice in gift bags.
The duties of all the Bridesmaids is to help the Bride (that's you) on your wedding day. Assisting you with your wedding dress, managing your
veil, and train of your wedding dress and bouquet or basket of flowers. Attending to all your needs on the big day.
The Flower Girl is a little girl between the ages of 3 and 8.
She walks just in front of the Maid of Honor and the Bride, carrying a Flower Girl basket filled with flower petals, or aromatic herbs such as Lavender, Rosemary , Lemon Geranium (this symbolizes fertility). Scattering the petals in the path of the Bride (you) as you walk down the aisle.

The Flower Girl also...
..looks pretty in her beautiful Bridesmaid's dress.
Dances with the Page Boy or Ring Bearer at the reception.
Is in all the photos.
The Flower Girl can stand at the church door holding a Flower Girl basket. A basket of wedding gift bags,
these would be filled with confetti, rice or flower petals for the
wedding guests to shower you and your husband as you leave the church.
Ushers are usually relatives or close friends. If the Groomsman is busy with photos or getting the last minute things ready before the church, the Usher can fill in. Their duties are....
....Ushers direct the guests to restrooms, answer any questions the guests might have, assist them to their seats in the church and at the reception.
Makes sure the wedding car is decorated and ready for when the newly-weds leave.
To hand out programs or service sheets to the guests as they arrive at the church and help the guests to their seats.
Lets the organist know the Bride has arrived.
If you have more than one Usher, the other Usher can be first
to arrive at the reception to make sure everything is as it should be.
Takes charge of the wedding gifts for the Bride and Groom.
The Groomsman is the right-hand man to the Groom if you are not having a Best Man, just like the Maid of Honor or Matron of Honor is to the Bride. His duties are the same as the Best Man's, see below.
The Best Man is something like the Groomsman above, supporting the Groom on the big day. If you don't have a Groomsman at your wedding then the Best Man will do his duties and more, which are.....
....organize a Stag Night.
The Groom's right hand.
Help the Groom, Ushers and Groomsman choose their tuxedos.
Attend all wedding rehearsals.
Stand beside the Groom in the church with the wedding rings.
Make sure the Ushers and Groomsmen are all looking busy.
Be a witness at the wedding and sign the marriage license.
Make a speech and toast to the Bride and Groom at the reception.
Dance with the Chief Bridesmaid and the Bride.
Collect all the wedding gifts.
Decorate the car the newly-weds will drive away in.
Maybe drive them to a hotel or somewhere else.
As you can see, the Best Man has lots to do. His is the number-one man to the Groom. Your wedding helper.
Page Boy/ Ring Bearer:
A Page Boy or Ring Bearer is a boy no older than 7 years old.
His duties are..
...attend all the wedding rehearsals.
Walk down the aisle beside the Flower Girl.
Look cute as he carries the Bride's train as the Bride walks down the aisle.
He carries the cushion with the rings.
Stand at the church door after the ceremony with a basket of gift bags filled with rice, confetti or flower petals, handing them out to guests.
Be in all the photos.
It's perfectly OK for the Page Boy or Ring Bearer to sit with their parents after they have handed the rings over.
Your wedding helper.
A Coin Bearer is a bit like a Ring Bearer but with coins. It can
be a boy or a girl between the ages of 3 and 6 years old. They are
nephews or young brothers, nieces or sisters of the Bride and Groom.
He or she walks down the aisle bearing coins to the Bride and Groom.
They are sometimes know as ‘Wedding Arrhae.’ The coins consist of
