Your Wedding Helper. Do you know what the different people helping you on your wedding day are called and what their duties are?
Not only is your wedding dress and wedding flowers important, so are the wedding helpers. One wedding day helper are 10 wedding day helpers, they can help you with so much. Find out what they do.
There are so many it can get confusing. Here are some explanations of what your wedding day helper can do for you.
Bridesmaids

Principal Bridesmaid also know as the Chief Bridesmaid or Maid of Honor if she is not married and a close friend or sister of the bride.If she is married she is called Matron of Honor. This is your wedding helper.
Being the Maid of Honor or Matron of Honor is a great honor and this means she is the number one person next to the bride. She helps choose the dress and attend the dress fittings and assist the bride with the veil and flowers. Help in the wedding preparations. Host the hen night and the shower party.Sign the marriage certificates.At the reception the maid of honor sits at the bride and grooms table. Has the first dance with the best man.Helps the bride change before she leaves the reception.These are just a few things the maid of honor/Maid of Honor helps with. A Junior Bridesmaid is between the age of 7 and 14 is a girl to old to be a flower girl and too young to be a Section targetingbridesmaid. Helps plan games for the younger guests at the reception.
The duties of all the bridesmaids is to help the bride on her wedding day. Assisting the bride with her wedding dress, managing her veil, the train of her wedding dress and bouquet or basket of flowers. Assisting to all of her needs on the big day. Each one of these is your wedding helper.
Flower Girl

The Section targetingFlower Girl is a girl under the age of 10, this symbolize fertility. She walks in front of the bride scattering scented flower petals and aromatic herbs ( Lavender , Rosemary , Lemon Geranium) from her basket as the bride walks down the aisle.
At the reception the flower girl dances with the page boy or ring bearer.The flower girl can stand at the church door with a basket of wedding gift bags, these would be filled with confetti, rice or flower petals for the wedding guests to shower the bride and groom as they leave the church. Your Wedding Helper.
Groomsmen
Section targetingGroomsmen or Usher is a best friend of the groom. This is your Section targeting wedding helper. His duties are:
......to hand out programs or service sheets to the guests as they enter the church and help the guests to their seats.
Lets the organist know bride has arrived.
If you have more than one usher the other one can be first to arrive at the reception to make sure every thing to good.
Takes charge of the wedding gifts for the bride and groom.
Makes sure the wedding car is decorated and ready for when the newly weds leave.
Best Man
Best Man is the main person to the groom and usually a brother or a best friend. This is your wedding helper.
Responsible for organizing the bachelors party.
The best man is to attend the rehearsals at the church.
Helps the groom with his preparations leading up to the wedding day and on the day. His right hand man.
Helps the groom get ready for this wedding and look after the wedding rings.
Can be a witness to the vows and can sign the marriage license.
Makes a speech and toast to the bride and groom at the reception.
Has the first dance with the main bridesmaid.
Page Boy.
A Page Boy is a boy no older than seven years old.His duties are to look cute as he carries the brides train as she walks down the aisle.
Ring Bearer

 | In more formal weddings a ring bearer or wedding page boy carries the rings down the aisle on a beautiful satin or silk cushion and presents the rings to the bride and groom.
Ring Bearers etiquette is one little boy between the ages of three and six years old. There are no set rules it has to be a boy, ring bearers can also be girls. They are normally nephews or young brothers, nieces or sisters of the bride and groom.
If it's a boy he can walk down the aisle with the flower girl (optional)
It's perfectly OK for the ring bearer to sit with their parents after they have handed the rings over.
Coin Bearers
A Coin Bearer is a bit like a ring bearer but with coins. He walks down the aisle bearing coins to the bride and groom. They are sometimes know as ‘Wedding Arrhae’ The coins consist of thirteen gold and thirteen silver coins. It’s to symbolize Jesus and his apostles.
